About ThinkPrivate

ThinkPrivate is Australia's leading private credit comparison and origination technology platform, built as an intermediary for brokers and debt advisors to non-bank lenders, private credit funds and family offices for real estate-backed commercial lending.

ThinkPrivate has 40+ lenders to compare in real time and 1,900+ brokers nationwide, transacting across bridging, development and other commercial scenarios.

Our ambition is simple: every private credit transaction in Australia should run through ThinkPrivate.

Role overview

As a BDM at a private or non-bank lender, you sell one book, one appetite, one credit team. At ThinkPrivate you provide brokers with a platform that puts 40+ lenders in a side-by-side comparison.

This role owns broker growth in your market. Onboarding new brokers, then making sure they actually use the platform and keep coming back. Sign-ups are the start, transactions are the measure.

What you'll do

Own broker acquisition across your state: identify, approach and sign brokers and debt advisors active in commercial and private lending.
Drive usage, not just registrations. Get new brokers to their first deal on the platform quickly, then to their second and third.
Work live scenarios with brokers: help them structure the deal, shape it to lender appetite, and land on the right funding options.
Run demos, training sessions and in-person meetings across your market, and build relationships with aggregators, broker groups and industry networks.
Maintain a clear pipeline and report accurately on activity, sign-ups and platform usage.
Feed insight back to the business: which scenarios brokers are struggling to place, and where the lender panel has gaps.

Who you are

Proven broker-facing sales experience, ideally as a BDM at a private lender or non-bank lender, with an existing network of brokers writing commercial and private deals.
Hands-on experience structuring private credit transactions across first mortgages, second mortgages and development finance.
Self-directed and organised. Given a market, you can build a plan, work it and report clearly on where things stand.
Comfortable being out of the office and in front of brokers, with travel across your state.

Why ThinkPrivate

Attractive package: competitive base salary plus performance incentive.
Potential equity participation: the opportunity to hold equity in a business at an inflection point.
Ownership: you will run your market segment and work directly with the co-founders.
A market with momentum: private credit is one of the fastest growing segments in Australian finance, and ThinkPrivate is how it reaches the broker market.
