Property data sources and attributions
Some of the information shown on the ThinkPrivate Platform, and included in loan scenario summaries provided to lenders, is Property Data licensed from Landchecker Pty Ltd and, through Landchecker, from Australian State, Territory and Commonwealth government bodies and other third-party licensors. Street-level imagery, satellite imagery and location maps are supplied separately by Google. The copyright and licence notices on this page apply to all of that content.

Terms used on this page. Property Data means the property information described in section 1. Data Provider means Landchecker Pty Ltd (ACN 607 394 696). Data Suppliers means the Australian State, Territory and Commonwealth government bodies and other third-party licensors from whom that data originates. These terms have the same meaning as in our User Terms and Conditions, which apply to everyone who uses the platform.
The Property Data and the imagery are licensed to us; we do not own them. Both are provided without warranty as to accuracy, completeness or currency, and you must independently verify before relying on them.
01What we display
Property Data is retrieved for the security property address entered by a broker. The categories below are indicative of what is currently displayed. The specific fields available vary by property and by jurisdiction, and not all fields are available for every address.

| Planning permits | Latest planning permit and planning permit history, including permit numbers, dates, status (pending, approved or rejected) and permit descriptions. |
| Property reports | PDF property reports compiled from the above. |
| Imagery and maps | Street-level imagery, satellite imagery and location maps, supplied by Google rather than by the Data Provider. |
Where a property address falls outside the Data Provider's coverage, no Property Data is returned and we tell you so. We do not infer or estimate Property Data that has not been supplied to us.
02Sources and copyright statements
The following statements apply to the content shown on the platform. The first two are required by our licence with the Data Provider.
Government-supplied data
Copyright in this data belongs to the Government supplier and the Government supplier does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of the information or its suitability for any purpose.
Landchecker
Copyright in Landchecker Data Vault products belongs to Landchecker. Landchecker permits the use of LDV by ThinkPrivate for Authorised Purposes and limits your use to use in connection with ThinkPrivate's products and services (including the preparation, provision, receipt and viewing of loan scenario summaries, whether by email or via lender-facing dashboards in connection with requests for indicative terms and loan applications) and prohibits you from further distributing or commercialising the data.
Map data, satellite imagery and street-level imagery © Google. Imagery and map content is provided by Google and is subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Imagery may have been captured at an earlier date and may not reflect the current condition, configuration or existence of any building or improvement. Google gives no warranty as to the accuracy or currency of imagery or map content, and it must not be extracted, copied, redistributed or used separately from the ThinkPrivate Platform.

Where Property Data originates from a particular State or Territory, that jurisdiction's notice applies. Select a jurisdiction to read its notice.
Creative Commons
Where the Property Data includes material supplied under a Creative Commons licence: this product includes data licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC BY 4.0), and the End User agrees to be bound by the terms of that licence. A copy of the licence is available at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.
04Accuracy, currency and reliance
This section is important. Please read it before relying on any Property Data.
Property Data is point-in-time. Property Data is retrieved from the Data Provider at the time an address is searched and may then be retained and displayed in connection with your loan scenario. It reflects the records available at the time of retrieval and may not reflect the current state of any public register, planning scheme, permit or overlay. Zoning, planning controls, hazard mappings and permit records change over time. Where currency matters to a decision, you must obtain current information directly from the relevant authority.
The Property Data is supplied by the Data Provider and the Data Suppliers, and the imagery by Google, without any warranty as to accuracy, completeness or currency.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkPrivate, the Data Provider, the Data Suppliers and Google do not accept any responsibility or liability for any error, omission or inaccuracy, or for any use of or reliance on this content.
You must independently verify before relying on it, and you rely on it at your own risk.
We display Property Data as supplied to us. We do not alter its substance, and we cannot correct records held by a Data Supplier; corrections must be raised with the relevant authority.
Property Data is not, and must not be treated as, a title search, a planning certificate, a survey, a valuation, or a substitute for searches, enquiries or professional advice.
Nothing on this page or in the Property Data is financial, real estate, legal, taxation or accounting advice, or credit assistance. ThinkPrivate does not provide financial product advice or credit assistance and does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence or Australian Credit Licence. Finance available through the ThinkPrivate Platform is strictly commercial finance that is not regulated by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth). 05Permitted use and restrictions
Your use of Property Data is limited by our licence with the Data Provider. These restrictions are set out in full in our User Terms and Conditions and, where one applies to you, in your agreement with us. In summary, you must not:
on-sell, distribute or supply any Property Data in its raw or bulk form to any third party, or derive revenue from the Property Data as such, other than as permitted by the statements in section 2;
use the Property Data to identify, or to enable another person to identify, any individual as holding or having held an interest in land;
use or present the Property Data for, or in a way that suggests it is available for, direct marketing or promotional purposes;
create or contribute to any database derived from the Property Data other than as reasonably required for the permitted purposes;
extract, copy, redistribute or use the Google imagery separately from the ThinkPrivate Platform; or
remove, obscure or alter any attribution, disclaimer, copyright or other proprietary notice.
Property Data is also subject to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and to the terms of the Data Suppliers set out on this page.
06Changes to notices and availability
These notices may be updated, and additional notices may be added, where required by the Data Provider or a Data Supplier. The current version of this page applies to your use of Property Data.
Our ability to supply Property Data depends on our arrangements with the Data Provider. We may, without liability, modify, restrict, suspend or withdraw access to any Property Data where required by a Data Supplier or by law.
Availability of particular fields and jurisdictions may change over time.
